Information for Nannies
Most full time nannies and mothers helps usually work between 10-12 hours per
day (extra hours are normally paid at an overtime rate). Baby-sitting for a
daily nanny is normally paid extra where a live in nanny can be expected to
do 1-2 nights per week within their salary. You are entitled for 4 weeks paid
holiday per year plus bank holidays. If you are part time this is paid on a
pro rata basis - these are normally worked by the employer choosing 2 weeks
and the nanny choosing 2 weeks.
