All applicants applying to join Playtime Nannies are personally interviewed
by us, references and qualifications are taken along with proof of identity
and driving history. Each applicant will also be asked to complete a criminal
records enhanced disclosure check, once approved the applicant will then
be available for interviews.
When contacting Playtime Nannies, we will go through your job description
as clearly as possible to enable us to accurately understand your requirements.
We will then send a registration form along with our Terms and Fee for you
to complete and return. There is no registration fee, only a placement fee
should a suitable candidate be placed with your family.
Once we have your details we will look through our database to see if we
have any suitable candidates for your position and will contact you giving
information on those available, who we feel would be suitable and will arrange
interviews at a time convenient to both parties.
Once the interviews have commenced we would then contact yourself and the
candidate for feedback. If both parties are interested we always suggest
a second interview, ie. to meet the children and go over the finer details.
If the position is offered to the candidate and the candidate accepts we
will then discuss Contracts, Tax and National Insurance along with any other
questions you may both have.
As an employer you are required by law to pay your nanny's Tax and National
Insurance. This can be done in two ways, you can contact the Inland Revenue
who will send you a starter pack to complete or alternatively, you could
contact NannyTax. NannyTax are a specialist company that deal with all tax
issues on your behalf, including P60's and monthly payslips.
